the F word, and B word

"Westernization is taking over ".. oh i've heard this shit a zillions of time. Ya, true but the most hideous part is that its also taking over the swearing part. Its no common sight to see/hear someone using the F word. "what the fuck..!!" . hey did i actually say the F word. oops.! Or sometimes, "What an asshole.!" or even Bitch, is not uncommon. This list of definitely not exhaustive. Its not the offensiveness, but the acceptance of this words that bothers me. Using these foreign swear words seems to be kind of fashion statement.

The irony is that when words with similar meanings (or the same meaning) are used, but in the local languages, they seem to mean ( or atleast ppl react) differently. People feel more offended when the local language equivalent word is used. Even girls who do not (or are hesitant to) use the local language equivalents can be seen using the F word, and many others quite liberally. Hey, i am no sexist but still where are the days of good old gentleman etiquettes or the dandy ladies..??

Just another of the many examples of acceptance of westernization.
